Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree or PharmD from an accredited college of Pharmacy

License/Registration:

• Current licensure (or licensure eligibility) by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
• Parenteral licensure/eligibility in specified areas
• Permanent licenses required within 2 months of entry into the job

Desired Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy operations and procedures
• Working knowledge of practice in specialty care areas
• Parenteral licensure
• Preceptorship

Ensures appropriate, safe, effective & efficient use of medications through the application of pharmaceutical principles in order to provide optimal patient outcomes.
