Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Radiology, IT, or Health Administration or related degree or equivalent knowledge due to work history

• Working knowledge of PACS system operation or similar specific radiology applications

• Proficiency in office automation systems and communications protocols

• Demonstrated project management and implementation skills

• Considerable knowledge of information systems with demonstrated management skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced study in networks and PC support

Ensures quality image archiving and communications by providing day to day support and administration of the Radiology Informatics System (RIS). Serves as a liaison between Radiology and other departments regarding medical imaging initiatives and processes for Infirmary Health System. Manages the development, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems in order to provide systems services which meet the needs of the Radiology department.
