Minimum Qualifications: 

One of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
• Pharm D. degree

3 of the most recent 5 years’ experience working in a hospital pharmacy or similar

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

One of the following:

• Current Alabama State Board of Pharmacy license
• License eligible*

*Permanent license will be required within six months of entry into the position.

Desired Qualifications:

Master of Business Administration or Master’s degree in Hospital Pharmacy

Working knowledge of management in a clinical setting

Licensure, Registration, Certification: 

Consulting licensure

Preceptor license/eligibility

Manages the overall operations of the Disease State Management (DSM) Services. Facilitates the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex, in-depth clinical services that promote desirable patient outcomes using safe, cost-effective drug therapies through delivery of Disease State Management (DSM) services.
