Minimum Qualifications:

1 of the most recent 3 years’ experience performing sterile processing duties in a hospital setting

Licensure, Registration, Certification:

One of the following:

• Graduate of Surgical Tech program
• Certified Sterile Processing (SPD) Technician by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution (CBSPD)
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM)

Acts as contact/lead to a healthcare team to deliver comprehensive quality care and services in Sterile Processing area. Cleans, sterilizes, prepares, stores, distributes, and maintains specialized instrumentation and scopes, robotic instrumentation and scopes, as well as various supplies, equipment, instruments and linen to assure the efficient operations.
